Lilley 2021/22 Federal Budget Submission
I’m not just talking the talk when it comes to creating jobs on the Northside and boosting our local economy. I’m walking the walk.
To identify funding gaps in local infrastructure and community projects which will create new jobs and boost our local economy, I have conducted suburb-specific community surveys across Lilley over the past six months. The responses received from these community surveys, in addition to feedback received at mobile offices and community events across the electorate, have been used to inform the 2021/2022 Lilley Budget submission.
This is a budget submission by the people of Lilley, for the people of Lilley. It includes a list of our local funding priorities relating to:
- Sporting infrastructure
- Roads and transport
- The Urban Congestion Fund
- Community initiatives
On 24 March 2021, I sought leave in the House of Representatives to table the 2021/2022 Lilley Budget Submission for the consideration of the Treasurer. The Federal Government denied leave.
I went straight from the House of Representatives to the Federal Government Ministry wing to hand deliver the 2021/2022 Lilley Budget Submission to the Treasurer himself.
